Readers should observe strict silence and switch off their Mobile phones etc. on the library Premises. Indiscipline may lead to disciplinary action and the library privileges may be withdrawn.
No personal belongings are allowed inside the library, In case of any misplacement, the library will not be responsible.
Library Membership cards are not transferable
Mobile phones are not allowed on library premises
Refreshment of any kind shall not be taken anywhere on the library premises
Enter your name and Sign in the register kept at the entrance counter before entering any section of the library.
Only registered members are allowed to use the Library
Registered members are issued a bar-coded Library Membership Identity card
Every student must possess his / her Library Card while making use of the Library facility and produce the same to the Library Staff upon entering the Library
Student membership in the Library is renewed at the beginning of each year
Two books will be issued against Library Cards for 15 days only
When Books are issued, students should check the pages of the issued books and if pages are found missing, they should report the same to the Librarian before leaving the Counter. On Returning the books, if pages are found missing, then the last borrower of the book shall be held accountable for the missing pages and shall accordingly be fined
Members are responsible for books issued against their lost Library Card
Readers should not write in, mark, or otherwise disfigure / damage books, furniture, etc
In case a student loses his/ her Library Card then the student should report the loss of card immediately to the library and apply for a duplicate card on the prescribed form available at the Library by paying Rs. 20/- per card.
Issued book returned after due date attract overdue charges as Rs. 2/- per day will be charged
In case a Reader loses a book he/she should submit the same title to the library. If the same book is not available in the market, he has to pay 1.5 times the current price in the case of a regular book and In the case of a rare book, he has to pay 2 times of book's current price.
The college Leaving Certificate or Transfer Certificate will be issued to the student only after he/she has returned all the Library books and cleared all library dues
Schedule Castes (SC) students can become a member of the book bank by giving an application along with a caste certificate
Members of the book bank will be issued 3 books for each student for each semester
The book shall be returned within two days after the theory examination, otherwise, a late fee of Rs.2/- per day per book will be charged
All students can become a member of this book bank facility by producing fee paid receipt
Members of the book bank will be issued 5 books in four students group, for each semester
Differently, able students can become a member of this book bank facility by giving an application along with a medical certificate
Members of the book bank will be issued 4 books for each semester
Reference books and Periodicals will not be issued out.
