About Department
The Department of Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering established in the year 1983 is one of the premier departments in the college. The Department offers an Under Graduate (UG) with 60 intakes from 1983. Department started Post Graduate (PG) program in 1989 (Vacational) with 6 intake and regular PG with 18 intake from 2010.
The Department is having of well qualified, competent and highly motivated, well experienced faculty members who have imbibed and adopted some of the best academic practices. The Department has initiated and maintained a continuous dialog with several leading Industries and Alumni through which Department has been perceived as a Excellence performance across for UG/PG studies.
Department has been accredited twice in April 2004 and September 2011 by National Board of Accreditation (NBA), New Delhi.
Goal of the Department of Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering is to produce highly knowledgeable, competent and resourceful young engineers who can perform well in a wide variety of job profiles. To achieve this, curriculum provides the analytic and technological aspects of Electronics Engineering. It also provides ample opportunities to students to work on mini-projects, develop communication skills, explore internship opportunities in industry and take part in national and international design contests.
Students of this department have performed extremely well over the years by securing ranks in the university. Both staff and students of this department have participated in national and International workshops and have published papers in reputed journals. Many times department has bagged best project of the year award at national/state level student project programme /Exhibitions.
Students graduated from this department have been well placed in reputed national and multinational companies.
